been created to promote freshwater and saltwater fishing in Maine. For
those of us who are lucky enough to live in the Pine Cone State, we will
offer local fishing updates, news from DMR & IFW, exclusive fishing articles,
updates on the newest fishing products and direct links to Maine's
Recreational Fishing Industry.
And for those of you who are planning a fishing trip to the state of Maine, we will offer everything you need to know to make it a successful Maine Fishing Adventure! We will supply you with information on fishing license requirements and fishing regulations, a listing of charter captains & registered Maine guides, accommodations, tackle store & bait shop listings, and all the information you will need to make sure you bring the right fishing equipment. We want you to have a great time so that you will continue to come back in pursuit of that record fish! I began fishing with my father at a very young age. My adventures began early on when dad carried me around in his ice fishing pack basket. The real fun began when I was old enough to start reeling them in. At the age of 2, I landed my first bluefish. At the age of 5, dad had a custom boat rod made for me. It was the beginning of things to come. . . It was only natural that I would marry a man who's passion is fishing. This passion, sometimes an obsession, has been passed on to our daughter and son. It is a family debate as to who has caught the biggest and the most fish! For 10 years, we owned a small tackle shop on the coast of Maine. The store sponsored many benefit fishing tournaments and events throughout the years. Through these experiences, as well as years of selling advertisement to Maine's Recreational Fishing Industry, I came to realize that there was no One source to go to get information on fishing in Maine. This is what I hope to offer to you; all the answers to your questions on fishing in Maine. I welcome your opinion. If you like what you see, or don't, let us know.
