My name is Alexander "Striper" because I was born in the middle of Striper Season. I am 6 years old. I like to fish for BIG fish. I fish with lures, bait and flies. My favorite bait is live mackerel and eels and my favorite lures are green and silver D.O.A.'s, blue and white Mr. Wiffles and top water poppers. I tie my own flies so I have a lot of them. They work good in the Spring and in the Fall. I use a Pinnacle Rod, Silstar Baitcasting Reel and Ande Green Tournament line. I only use Ande line because you need it so you can catch 40" stripers. It doesn't break easy. I fish a lot with my dad and sometimes with my mom and dad and my sister. I catch the biggest fish. I think fishing for the biggest ones are the most fun. But fishing for little ones is ok, too. The End Fall 1999 |
